Dutchman Olesen – Another Strong name on Czech Masters

The line-up of top players coming for this year’s Czech Mastershas recently been expanded again with a new name – Thorbjorn Olesen. Thie 24-year-old Dutchman earned a third place on this year’s Qatar Masters and was fifth on the Desert Classic in Dubai. The key event of his career happened last year when he earned a score good enough for a sixth place tie at the Masters Tournament. That earned him an exemption given by the PGA Tour for certain tournaments till the end of the season. Therefore he could be spotted rather overseas last year.  Olesen is the winner of the 2012 Sicilian Open and a proud collector of second place trophies from three other big events– theAlfred Dunhill Championship, the Italian Open andthe Alston Open de France.

There are two winners of previous tournaments hosted on the Czech soil coming to the Czeh Masters – the champions from Celadna – Oskar Henningson from Sweden and the Englishman Oliver Fisher.

„We managed to get an exemption for Henningson because he does not have the European Tour card. We further approached another Swede Peter Hansons who is the most successful player from Celadna. He was dealing with health issues last year but will be joining the tournaments again so we are hoping to provide for a successful course of the event for the winners of the last European Tour, ‘‘ says Petr Dedek, the Chairman of the Board of RELMOST promoter agency.

D+D REAL Czech Masters will takeplace from 21 – 24August in the Albatross Golf Resort near Prague.
