Andrew „Beef“ Johnston To Play At The Czech Masters!

Even though Johnston has only one win on PGA Tour and two wins on the Challenge Tour so far, he has become a world-known person. His fans follow him not just because of his special looks but also because of his great personality and specific game.

Wherever he comes he gets immediate attention. He proved that last year on PGA Tour where he got many supporters. After returning to Europe this season he again entertains crowds on the European Tour.

“We are really happy that Johnston decided to come and play at The Czech Masters and so we can for the first time introduce him to the Czech fans. We look forward to his presence here in August as he is one of the most popular players in the world right now,” said  Petr Dedek, owner of the Relmost promotion company.

It is not for the first time though, that Johnston will be playing a tournament organized by Relmost. Back in 2014, when he won The Order of Merit at the Challenge Tour, he played at Penati (Slovakia) where he finished T-7. That year he won his both titles on the Challenge Tour.

His only win on the European Tour comes from 2016 when he won his title at Open de Espana at Valderrama. The same year he managed to finish 8th at The Open in Royal Troon. The following season he spent at the US PGA Tour.

He will meet his friend John Daly at Albatross, both players seem to have a similar life style that includes passion for beer and good food. This is the reason why he got his nickname.

Now Czech fans can finally find out more about his temperament. The Czech Masters begin on 23rd August, with John Daly,  Lee Westwood or the winner of 2016 Masters Danny Willett in the field.
