10TH ANNIVERSARY CZECH MASTERS TO BE PLAYED AT PGA NATIONAL OAKS PRAGUE

The anniversary 10th edition of the D+D REAL Czech Masters tournament, the only DP World Tour event in the Czech Republic, has its home. This will become the PGA National Oaks Prague course in Nebřenice, south of Prague, in August 2024. The tournament will move there after nine years held at Albatross. The news was announced on Wednesday evening during the live broadcast of the 28th Evening of Czech Golf by Petr Dědek, head of the promoter company Relmost, which organizes the tournament.

The biggest Czech golf event of the year took place in Vysoké Újezd ​​for the last time this year. Since then, all Czech golfers and golf fans have been anxiously waiting for the tournament, to which players such as Ernie Els, Lee Westwood, John Daly, Martin Kaymer, Padraig Harrington, Danny Willett or Henrik Stenson have arrived in the past.

The new venue of the tournament, which has already been won twice in the past by the Belgian bomber Thomas Pieters, or for example Jamie Donaldson and Andrea Pavan, is the only Czech course with a PGA National license.

It was designed by world-leading architect Kyle Phillips and is managed by the renowned company Troon Privé. The front nine welcomed players in the fall of 2019, the entire 18-hole course opened in the summer of 2020.

In 2024, the D+D REAL Czech Masters tournament is scheduled for 15-18 in the DP World Tour calendar. august It will once again feature the top European golfers and the best Czech and Slovak golfers. It will be broadcast as well as all the tournaments of the DP World Tour season on the Golf Channel.
